No results after 1 year, except no more heel callousingI am a nurse and work 12.5 hour shifts 3 days per week. For 1 solid year I have worn these shoes running around a busy ER = about 1950 hours of use. I did watch the video that comes with these. I do not have any back or foot problems, so it is not fair to comment about that as others have. I have had ABSOLUTELY NO increase in muscle tone in my legs and no improvement with cellulite. The veins in my legs have gotten no better. The ONLY difference is that I no longer have the calloused skin on the outer aspects of my heels. I was hoping to get a little bit of a work out with these shoes and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. $255 dollars is a high price to pay for getting rid of callouses (and honestly that was just from the type of shoes I had before (Birkis)... any other tennis shoes would have done away with those). Not to mention that these shoes are ugly, so I can't justify the price that I paid for eye appeal. I have had lots of questions from people/patients/coworkers about these shoes, but have nothing positive to say. May be if I suffered from back or foot problems I would have a different view. Sorry MBT, you don't get my vote. Unfortunately I will be wearing these for a while as I was such a sucker to buy into a product that didn't pull through for me and it would make me sick to toss the most expensive pair of shoes I have ever bought!

The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has long become reality, and his corporate philosophy the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Adi Dasslers aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. The Adidas name dates back to 1948, deriving from the first two syllables of Adi Dasslers first and last name. One year later, Adi Dassler registered the Three Stripes as a trademark. After a period spanning almost 70 years, the Dassler Family withdrew from the company in 1989, and the enterprise was transformed into a corporation ("Aktiengesellschaft"). French-born Robert Louis-Dreyfus was Chairman of the Executive Board from April 1993 to March 2001. It was he who initiated Adidas flotation on the stock market in November 1995. Adidas--a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport around the globe. Today, the Adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.
